Big Sean pays it forward by opening a studio in his former high school!
Big Sean is really nice. The rapper previously promised students at Cass Technical High School their own recording studio if the class of 2015 raised their ACT (a college readiness test) scores. After doing so, Sean returned to his Detroit school to unveil the reward with a little help from adidas.
The Sean Anderson Studio of Infinite Possibilities is 784 square foot and adorned with lyrics from “One Man Can Change The World” for inspiration.
The unveiling saw Big Sean speak proudly to students and ended with him being honored with tributes from the Mayor’s office. The 27-year-old took to Instagram to share to news, writing:
“I can’t believe I used to rap at the lunch tables, slang my CD’s in the hallways, and fast foward [sic] less than 10 years later I’m opening up my own recording studio at my old High School Cass Tech for the students! This brings me tears of Joy!”
adidas Originals teased the announcement a day earlier by tweeting:
