Ghostface Killah Drops “Let The Record Spin”, Announces Album

Ghostface Killah enlists Raekwon in his new track “Let The Record Spin” and announces new album. Listen here!

Ghostface Killah has been busy. The Wu-Tang rapper dropped the new “Let The Record Spin” and announced a new album simultaneously. The track features a guest verse from band mate Raekwon while Adrian Younge handles the nostalgic production.

“So it’s your greed, Imma take your body and flesh
A human walking the earth and nothing less
Revenge is avenged when the family is diminished
You gonna rise to the heavens when our mission is finished”
– Ghostface Killah

“Let The Record Spin” will feature on GFK’s conceptual album, Twelve Reasons To Die II. The LP is the follow-up to 2013’s critically acclaimed Twelve Reasons To Die, with both produced exclusively by Younge. GFK raps as an Italian mobster in 1960s who is murdered by the Deluca family and has his remains pressed into a vinyl. If the record is played, Ghostface is resurrected. Raekwon features heavily on the album – does he play friend or foe? Other guests include the mighty GZA, Vince Staples, and Bilal. The LP is due out 10th July via Linear Labs.
