The Weeknd survives a car wreck in the video for “The Hills”. Watch it here!
The Weeknd brings back YOLO with a bang. The visuals for “The Hills” (previously titled “Mood Music”) have been released, showing a bloody Abel Tesfaye emerge from a car wreck and make an arduous journey to a creepy house.
In true Weeknd style, “The Hills” ends with the singer reaching the master bedroom to find numerous women lounging on the bed and staring knowingly. Despite blood seeping from his head, a limp, and a confused look on his face (concussion?), Abel still manages to find some DTF women. What is his secret?
“The Hills” debuted back in March at SXSW Festival but the Grant-Singer-directed piece came with a duet of leaked demos. “I Can’t Feel My Face” and “Girls Born In The 90s” dropped with the former ticking the numerous Funk boxes we’ve seen so far this year.
