Watch J Cole Start A Slave Uprising In New Video To G.O.M.D

“Like a light skinned slave, boy, we in the mothafuckin’ house” J. Cole debuts the powerful period video “G.O.M.D” off of his latest album 2014 Forest Hills Drive.

J. Cole just wants to be free.  In his latest video, directed by Lawrence Lamont, J. Cole plays a house slave who organises an uprising on a colionial-era plantation. The video opens up with J. Cole looking out of the window as slaves are working in the fields. During a dinner, he gets the plantation owner’s keys, unlocks the guns and gives them to his fellow slaves sparking a small revolution. After tying up the plantation owners, they celebrate their freedom by dancing around a bonfire.

Cole is currently on the first leg of his “Forest Hills Drive Tour”. On April 7, he will head to Europe for “Act 2: The Journey” featuring special guests Jhené Aiko and Pusha T.
